Our Story
The Early Years
Carlo Brandaglia and Trudi Brizzi founded Brandaglia Real Estate, establishing the first estate agency in the history of Isola del Giglio. Carlo, a native of Giglio, and Trudi, originally from Austria, had met on the island itself. From an encounter that came about almost by chance, not only did a family emerge, but also a professional venture destined to become a leading player in the local area.
The Rebirth
Carlo’s sudden death, just three years after the agency opened, marked a difficult time for the family. But the work they had built up together continued unabated: passion, professionalism and the relationships they had forged with people became the values through which the business carried on its journey, laying the foundations for a tradition destined to be passed down to future generations.
Roccastrada
Having run the business on the island for years, Andrea Carlo Brandaglia is expanding the agency’s horizons and opening a new branch in Roccastrada, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. On Giglio, the business focuses on property sales and holiday lettings, whilst in Roccastrada the agency specialises in the sale of farmhouses, country cottages, villas and farms.
The real estate today
A new generation is joining the business: Sofia and Filippo Brandaglia are working alongside their father, Andrea, carrying on a tradition started by their grandparents almost sixty years ago. This is how experience and fresh energy come together, whilst maintaining an unwavering focus on the customer’s needs, a deep understanding of the local area and, above all, a personal relationship that goes beyond a simple sale.
